Most likely you're an atheist on youtube if ...

You list the fallacies.

Take for example "Fallacies on rampant display here include but are not limited to: ad hominem, false binary, and false analogy."

I swear, there's probably a sticky on atheist forums entitled "Know Thy Fallacies!"

The funnies.

If you upload a video saying that men who vote for Bernie Sanders are "not real men" be prepared for some butt hurt from his supporters.

Now, can "real men" vote for Sanders? Yes. They're just politically confused and historically igorant of socialism, but Kirchoff does have a point. Most of the males I saw at my Sanders rally experience were young, probably smoke pot besides cigarettes, and generally wet themselves when Sanders wants to take down the billionaires. There's a particular subset of Sanders supporters that I'd definitely classify as "pussy" if not arrogant towards "men stuff." Of course, it would be fair to say that there's a particular subset of Trump supporters that are indeed racist, but I don't sense that that subset is as nearly as big as the MSM and The Left makes it out to be. But Limp Wristed Sanders supporters who drives a Prius for ethical/moral reason for the environment while getting high on 420? Probably more than 40%.

Veganism: The Cult?

Okay, to be clear I am not saying every vegan belongs to a cult or that veganism is a cult. I was watching a youtube video of a man who did a 30 day vegan challenge and ended with some positive results. Good for him. It's the comment section that made me think something was cult like.

Yep. Just decided to change to a vegan lifestyle this week. Mine actually started out of the ethical/environmental side of it. Never looking back. Glad to hear about how you benefited from being vegan for the month, and makes me more excited to keep pushing for progress in the gym! :) Good luck!
---
I am glad you enjoyed your vegan experience! I am vegan and I appreciate your honesty on your journey If you're looking for movies to educate yourself on veganism more Earthlings, Conspiracy, Forks Over Knives, and Food Inc are all great! Also you should check out Dr. Greger AKA NutritionFacts.org here on youtube :)
 ---
From "veganwhatnow" - Dude a step I the right direction! yey!!! You should check out "cowspiracy"!!!! OMG it is life changing!
---
Going vegan is where it is at! Glad to learn that you are joining the club, as I have felt both physically and mentally better since taking 'the plunge.' Although slow, I hope to see animal consumption go down and reduce the number of CAFOs in existence.
---
You saved probably hundreds of lives. You saved thousands of gallons of water. cut down on pollution. Check out Gary Yourofsky Best speech ever 2014. cowspiracy. and Earthlings. life changing videos.
---
omg i am SO happy right now <3>
---
Dude this is awesome news! I've only seen a few of your vids but I subbed when I saw you were doing the 30 day vegan challenge thing and I honestly didn't think you'd stick with it long term and was going to unsub as soon as you broke that news lol I do think if you try to eat vegan all the time except for challenges you will regret it, only because your body will have a bad reaction. But if it works for you and that's what you have a passion for then hell 95% vegan is better than most of the assholes who will give you shit for it! A plant based lifestyle doesn't have to be 100% vegan, just has to be majority plants! I am 100% vegan though (including all cleaners, soaps, detergents, clothing etc) and I definitely think it's the right thing for me. The energy is great and I've been making progress, and the protein is just a non issue that for some reason most omnivores do not understand!
---
I think its good your doing 90% vegan.I think if yur not ready to be 100% yet no point trying to force it.I remember been vegetarian and eating vegan four days a week and slowly built up like that. The first time I went veganthough I went overnight and after about 5-6 months I quit so from my experience I think its easier to build to it 100% and do some research.
---
So glad to hear you're at least 95% vegan! Much love! You should definitely watch cowspiracy, forks over knifes, food inc, and earthlings. :)) you should for sure educated you're self!
---
GREAT VIDEO AND CONGRATULATIONS!! people just need to try for themselves the good things of the vegan lifestyle!!
---
I got no hate for you Erik! Really think its great you tried out the other side and you see it can work / help the world and as well as other aspects of it such as for animals. If you can do 95% of the time thats better then nothing and honestly this was a massive step in different direction. Happy Healthy Vegan(check them out if you havent) did a video saying something along the lines of small steps make major differences and if thats all you can do for right now then thats great! Its been almost a year now for me of 100% in it and I will never go back! Its always great to have more chill like minded people joining the vegan life style. If it can help promote it and get others to see whats its all about then I fully support them! If anything else it shows not all vegans are crazy nut jobs like people make us out to be! I just love animals =P
---
I totally support u on this
---
I really respect your decision because you're not letting so many people influence the life you want to live. Society is constantly pushing and pulling us to believe certain things and adopt certain lifestyles. We all deserve to choose how we want to live, and feel HAPPY with our decision!
---
I'm glad that you're so open minded to veganism!! I'm personally mostly vegan and entirely vegetarian, and I've also seen a huge positive impact in my life since making the change. If you're interested in knowing more about what happens in slaughterhouses and places of the sort, I highly recommend watching Earthlings; it's an incredibly touching movie, and I can guarantee you won't look at meat the same way afterwards
---
I'm Vegetarian. I was Vegan for about 3 years and then incorporated Dairy (Cheese, Yogurt). You are able to be more social that way. There is nothing wrong with people who eat meat if the animals are raised humanely, exercise daily and live a good happy life with a good diet. But now a days people consume disgusting amounts of meat and expose the poor animals to steroids and horrendous living conditions where they suffer daily. Don't support any fast food places and meat providers who contribute to the torture of animals. If you decide to eat meat make sure it's ORGANIC, GMO FREE AND HUMANELY RAISED.
Creepy.

Sorta sounds like people are happy because he's "coming out." Sorta sounds like these people are welcoming him into some sort of cult lifestyle.

Want more? A physician by the name of Dr. Melissa Clouthier wrote a post criticizing veganism. The comment section was filled with vegan defenders.

Apparently a commentator thinks that Dr. Clouthier is a "right-wing nut." (Her posts do not believe what the "progressives" believe in, so I guess that's a fair label.)
How is it that a chiropractor, who is a right-wing nut, who believes that vaccines cause autism, who does not accept the scientific evidence for global warming, and who believes in a god can feel comfortable calling anyone else stupid? You might want to reconsider your intellectual place in the world, Melissa, because it is not as lofty as you believe it is.
Sincerely,
Heath D. Watts, PhD (Geochemistry)
If you enter Watt's name in google one of the first results is a link to "Atheist Universe."

There's an angry dad -

Stupid meat-eaters. "Where do you get your protein?" could have been another good title of this article. I've seen ignorance before so it's easy to recognize.

My 7 year old son is a vegan and he has no issues with protein. Maybe you're healthier than 10 year olds because by age 10, kids already show signs of heart disease due to consuming food with cholesterol
Andrew Neil wrote this -

It is shocking to me that a "physician" would post such incredibly anecdotal and ignorant comments.
First, veganism is NOT a diet. It is a philosophy. Ergo, critiquing something that is NOT a diet and to point out the shortcomings of said diet is a logical fallacy.
Vegans eat everything omnivores eat with the exception of animal products. That leaves fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and grains. However, if you were to exclude many of these items and resorted to processed and junk foods, by way of example, one would indeed become unhealthy. But this does not a vegan diet make. If one eats a whole-foods, plant-based diet, which can absolutely be a wholesome, nutritionally rich diet, one can be very, very healthy. One could call either of these a "vegan diet" but it would be equally unfair to say that our unprecedented rates of obesity, diabetes, heart disease and cancer are a result of an omnivorous diet. There are lots of omnivores who are health and unhealthy just like vegans. So just like omnivorous diets, one can eat healthy or unhealthy, it comes down to choice and educating oneself and being responsible
Furthermore, to suggest that eating meat and dairy is a biological imperative (i.e. it is required to be healthy) is not only false and unverifiable, it is downright irresponsible.
As a vegan of 8 years, and my wife for 25 years, we are the picture perfect of health. And my physician agrees. I have no B12 deficiency for example - 15% of the population is B12 deficient, yet vegans only account for 2% of the population, ergo there are a lot of omnivores who are B12 deficient too, it is often an absorption issue. I have no "protein deficiency", my skin, energy level and general wellness are fine. Every year I get a physical and have my doctor check all the major biomarkers - everything falls within the normal ranges. My physician has no objections to my vegan diet (he is not vegan btw). I also do not take any supplements. I am 5'-11" tall and weigh 180lbs and have a perfect BMI.
And for the record, I'm the rule not the exception. Dr. Clouthier, your blog and position shows an incredible cognitive bias.

Check out Andrew's blog. The last post he wrote was entitled "Why I Am a Vegan." I will conclude the man is also an atheist by the books he has listed in his bio.

I'm sensing some strange similarities here. Here's my question: are non-religious people who spend time earning a PH.d more likely to be a vegan? That would be an interesting survey to construct.

Honestly, veganism is backwards. Why do I say this? Our teeth. The irony.

Youtube musicians and their fans.

It ceases to make me laugh when youtube musicians - usually of the skate-rock personal fashion kind - posts inspirational quotes or some sort of non-judgmental mantra, and their fans have an orgasm agreeing. "You are so right! Why do we tear each other down? Let others do their thing, making them happy we should just concentrate on our own thing!"

Youtube #DearMe

Self-esteem project. #GenerationPathetic

Now, before I watched it I thought to myself "Hmmm, let me predict the pearls of 'wisdom' that shall be said ... " This is what I came up with:

Be who you are.
Don't be ashamed of what you are (mostly geared towards LGBT).
Don't follow the crowd; be an individualist.
Be Crazy.
Be a Freak.
Follow your dreams.
Only you decide what is right and wrong.
Follow your heart.
Love is all you need.
Love is love.

Then I watched it. It's just a self-esteem/"YOU GO GIRL GO GET IT!" project. Not one single male.

Some were mentioned - others were decent enough advice. In the context that I'm thinking of the advice and what the youtubers put them in is completely different. 100% these are used in a modern context - to reject traditionalism and conservatism.

There was one comment that I did like, as I skimmed over the combox -
Let me clarify for all the feminist out there bitching that men are just whining because they are not the center of attention it is because we are not the center of attention it is because the internet is flooded full of these videos to help women and few to none to help men. If Google where to do something like this for mens day Google would be burned at the stake.
I don't think Google would be "burned at the stake" -- it's that Google would most likely would never attempt this for the men. If it were to do such a thing, there would be some sort of backlash, enough to make headlines that would more than click bait, and someone on the exec board would issue a formal apology.

Other comments that got the most votes -
Where is the guys
#Noequality
and "How about some older ladies with a little more perspective instead of a bunch 20 somethings who spent more time applying their make-up than they did on the video,"

and (transgender)
While I think this is a great project, I'm wondering why it has to be exclusive for women to do it? Just because it's women's day?
I am a man, but I was born anatomically a woman. I went through the same struggles and still do because I don't pass well as a man. We should be working to inspire humans as a whole to be themselves.
No, you're a women THINKING you're a man. If I were the person reviewing the submitted videos for #DearMe I'd automatically put you in the female videos. You got a a vagina and breasts, no matter small those breasts may be. You got tits that produce milk for babies. Men don't.

one more -
Why aren't all the men commenting in a negative way about how this is sexist make videos like this? What is stopping you from making serious content that shows that you don't have to be how society makes you feel? Just because women are giving other women advice (because believe it or not, we don't know what it's like to be a man and never will) doesn't mean anything against men, in this instance it's not about you because we can't speak on behalf of you. Stop commenting and get creating.
Because society is just one uber patriarchy forcing women in boxes ... Sure ... Oh the horror! Oh the stifling atmosphere of non-creativity and squares! Bold:  Yes, I do see where you're going but many of these self-esteem projects are geared towards women or the "rebel with freaky hair" types. Also, be careful about the "We're different sexes so we can't give the other sex advice" -- that sort of blows up what the transgender said about "born anatomically a woman." I mean, is it based on biology now or based on #feelings? I'm confused. Italics: A very common tactic used. It, general, means: Stop voicing opinions/stop-discussion so to let the combox be devoid of anything critical.

Youtube Weigtlifters

For those that are familiar with the popularity of weightlifting youtube channels, there seems to be a at least one "do what you wanna do" video by the lifter. I talked about this self-involvement in a past post.

Elliot Hulse has one and probably more, but I don't want to peruse his channel in fear that I may puke; Brandon Carter's has one; Maxx Chewning has one as well.

The saving grace for Chewning's channel is that he, at least, doesn't have this pseudo-intellectual front going on like Hulse. I'll admit it: I think Hulse is a hack. Most of his "philosophical" ramblings are just coming out of his ass probably because he reads way too many new-agey spirituality books without much guidance.

Keep lifting weights Hulse. Stop lifting airy new-agey books - they're making your mind turn to shit.

Caiden Cowger (and Jonathan Krohn)

I'm not sure if he is as loathed as he was three years ago, but apparently in 2012 his youtube channel was making the rounds with youtube progressive and they were a bit pissed off.

What I gather is that Cowger accuses HuffPo, among other left-leaning media/news sites, in trying to take down his youtube channel. I'm not sure if this is anywhere near accurate - maybe the young man jumped to conclusions, but I wouldn't be surprised if HuffPo, or someone from the online media site, did take action again him.

Videos like this, this, this and this were posted in response to Cowger's infamous upload that shared his views on homosexuality. (The video, so far, has received 4, 000 comments, 9, 000+ down votes vs. 400 up votes.) Even The Young Turks, a progressive media/news channel via youtube, jumped on the "Can you believe this kid?" bandwagon. When TYT makes a segment about you you know you've "made it" in the non-left world, at least when it comes to circulated media. In their eyes you're either a crazed wacko religious wingnut akin to an extreme Islamist yelling "Allahu Akbar!" with a bomb strapped to your chest, or you're not progressive enough. Heck, Cowger's video became to popular among the progressive side that he was even mentioned on the Bill Maher Show. Talk about getting the left pissed off.

The kid just isn't liked. Look here and here. It is obvious that Cowger has greatly irritated social "progressives" and the secular types.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone who saw the video, disagreed with him, and had a very  negative reaction to it, flagged it and reported it to youtube. Youtube, like all social media sites, is extraordinary liberal, so they too might have felt it violated sit rules and categorized it as "hate speech." I wouldn't be surprised if some LGBT activist pulled the alarm bell and yelled "FIRE!"

Whether or not Cowger will pull a Johnathan Krohn when he turns 18, or in later years, is anyone's guess. If he does I hope he finds his way to conservatism.

Krohn was held up to a pedestal by a few people on the right when he was a preteen (I don't know why) for espousing conservative views. Later the young Krohn would switch political leanings as he reached his university years. The left began mocking the right for doing such a thing and rightfully so: It was a moronic. At the time Krohn wasn't even 13 when he caught the eyes and hearts of moronic conservatives and Republicans whom then later saw him as the future of conservatism. Why? The kid hadn't even gone through puberty.

When a few FOX News personalities (those that sit around a table and drink coffee while a huge tv is behind, not the anchors) heard that all grownup Krohn was now a liberal college student, they threw him under the bus in a very  non-professional manner. Excellent way to make the right look like idiots, FOX.

(On how he, Krohn, turned into a liberal.)
Krohn: "So I read philosophy and it showed me how wrong I was in my worldviews .... "

Dear Allah. Really, Krohn? You read philosophy and it made you liberal? And you're majoring in film at NYU? You cannot be anymore stereotypical if you weren't already.

Anyways, it seems Cowger is a smart kid;  I think he has balls, if not somewhat reckless on how he broadcasts his views. He's opinionated. He "doesn't" mind own business. I don't know any kid his age who is doing what he's doing: a talk show via youtube espousing (social) conservative views in that manner, all with an understanding of those views - not just blind allegiance (though referring to the Bible when won't help much since social progressive are immensely stubborn).

Like I said, I'm not sure if Cowger will continue on like this - holding the views he currently holds - but if he does, well into his life, then good for him. If he doesn't, I'll just say "You were much wiser when you were a kid."

Note: I'll be dedicating one more post (or two) abut Cowger later this year. I think, besides the current vitriol he's receiving by the left, he deserves some good words (not the type Krohn got, Dear Allah no). I did a quick google search of him and most of the stuff were negative finds. I don't believe he's known in the conservative blogsphere, or even in general by conservatives, who more savvy with social media. He should be.

Welcome to Youtube. You Will Find Plenty of Interesting Discussions.

WARNING: Much snark ahead. You may get the urge to punch me. Fair enough.

I heard there were at least 12 genders by some person, but gosh darn now for some prejudice and bigoted reasons it's only two. Luckily for all the sexual confused and "don't-put-me-in-a-box" types people are now learning that are more, like pansexuals and asexuals and ... I dunno.

Behold. Our gender experts for Tomorrowland. May your inner lesbian and gayness prevail!

Just by reading this I think I deserve Ph. D. in Gender Theory. Wait, are there any existing accredited programs specializing in Gender Theory?  The committe that accredits is The "Love is Love"/"No Labels"/"No Hate" once located in San Francisco, CA, but has now found a new home in NYC which offers certificate programs in the cities of L.A. and Austin. Retreats are held in Arizona.

Combox #5: Youtube

James Franco is in a movie called Palo Alto. In it he plays a high school teacher who enters in a personal relationship with a student played by Emma Roberts. Within the trailer combox I found this little gem:

Why don't we add in legalizing marijuana by fiat as well (even though one of the latest mass shootings happened in SoCal where the drug is counted as "medical" marijuana) cause, ya know, if only the shooter could just relax and be all chill and enjoy the moment.

What poster HipDubHopStep indirectly expresses is nothing but assumptions and wild generalizations (that when compared to Europe, America is less responsible) driven, I guess, by what he sees and hears through the media. Since there isn't news of shootings in Europe, the alcohol & sex attitudes must be the reason why; that American are too "hung up" and too prude, hence the shootings.

Such mass shootings can't possibly be due to peer alienation, mental disorders or poor ethnic & home culture that aids into one picking up a gun and doing the nasty. Oh no. It's the higher age of legal adults (18 in the States, so just another two-three year difference when compared to certain European countries) and the higher drinking age restriction (by just three years) that causes inner city crime and school shootings.

And this (same thread of discussion) -

Just gotta hump that tight little buttocks. That belongs to a 16 year old.

Wait, didn't professional gymnast McKayla Maroney say her nude selfies (fake? not fake?) were taken while she was underage? If only the age of legal consent was 16, the hacker would be out of the clear.

I don't know where these posters are from. They could be American; they could be not. Whatever nationality they are they are dumb as rocks and admit to having little to no morals (yea, I know, "Shut the f_ck up you moralist!"), falling nicely into the amoral camp.

The Online Community. Oh dear.

Go to:

reddit (the atheist section, mainly)
IMDb (the forums - mainly the Awards forum and any actor who is popular)
youtube (the comment section)
tumblr (for the Social Justice Warriors & "Progressives")

Sites chock full of modernity. Relativism galore. Subjectivity around every corner. Amorality flowing like black gold.
