Taylor Marshall's analysis of Hozier's "Take Me to Church"

I've commented on Hozier's "Take Me to Church" here. I also found another site that had an analysis of the song - it's pretty decent.

As always, I skimmed through the combox quickly - it seems when Taylor Marshall makes posts about pop culture it's quite the hit with the fans of the given subject matter - and found this 'gem' of a conversation:

What cards were pulled? The "judgmental" card. The "you say are a Christian yet you're mean" card." The "your aren't perfect so don't judge" card. And the insecurities of poster "martinmus" -- "YOU AREN'T ANY BETTER THAN THE GAY MAN OR THE ARTIST! HOW DARE YOU!" HOW DARE YOU!"

Let's move to poster "Gen." Oh boy. Strawman after strawman. How on earth do you respond to such a comment? You don't.
